- By uploading an image to the BurningWell.org repository, you agree that:
- The image is already in the public domain.
-or-
- You are the
creator or copyright holder of the image and
- That you hearby release the image into the public domain.
- If recognizable people exist in the image, you have obtained a
Model Release from all recognizable people and
hearby transfer all rights you have acquired to use their likeness to the public domain. Click Here for more information about why Model Release forms are
needed.
- You are free to view the images on the site, and download full-size versions of those images that may be useful to you. But, you agree to not attempt to
use any automated means to download large numbers of images (more than 5%).
We simply do not have enough bandwidth available to allow people to download
the entire site in bulk.
If you would like a copy of all images, please contact
data (at) burningwell.org and we will be happy to arrange a bulk
electronic transfer or to ship a DVD to you for a nominal fee. Bulk electronic transfers are handled via the rsync protocol to ensure complete transfer and ease re-starts of the transfer. Simply set up a guest user account on a host supporting the rsync protocol that has a minimum of 7GB of free disk space and send us the username/password/host information.
- To the best of our knowledge, all images we host are in the public domain
and any recognizable people who appear in them have granted the right to
use their likeness for any purpose. If you find an image in the repository
for which you believe this is not the case, please notify us at:
admins (at) burningwell.org and we will be happy to rectify the
situation.
